Citrine looked up at the sky.It was nearly night.She had to find a shelter before dark,or the owls would easily pick her up off the ground.SHe was majorly skinny,and she would've had great camoflague because of her brown fur,if she didn't have cream colored stripes.She came across a river,leading to a waterfall.She cautiously touched the water with her paw.she saw many fish leap out of the water and swim away.She snatched at the fish,but it didn't help.She was getting weaker and weaker by the day.She looked at the waterfall.She thought she saw a cave on the inside.
Citrine jumped through the waterfall and into the cave.She saw the entrance leading to many other caves,but she decided it would probrobley be safer to just sleep in the entrance.SHe felt a little uncomfortable laying down on the floor with her ribs poking out,but it was better than nothing.She soon fell asleep,outstretched on the cave floor.
